Fished ever since I became intersted with it when I first went with my dad when I was about 5.Stemmed into local junior match fishing league at 13 and fished matches and match'style' til about 17.Never won but some 2nd's and third's!Got bored with the 'Mud Hole'carp lately and had never caught a barbel although dad had caught them,in his'hayday'from local rivers to 9lb(ish) so I thought I'd have to purely target them this season and see what happened.5lb 2oz whisker 1st time out!From the first 2ft'twitch' I was hooked (lol!)PS thanks to Tony (both of'em!)
